Since 2002, an old joke at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History is a tiny, toy Volkswagen Beetle hiding in a collection of real insects in one of their displays. “Someone at this museum has a sense of humor,” said Muppaphone – a Reddit user who spotted the “anomaly” at a recent visit to the museum. His post has generated hundreds of comments and spawned stories on Huffington Post and other websites.
CMNH's Director of Communications Glenda Bogar, told the Huffington Post, “It serves as a fun way to engage our visitors. They are always excited when they uncover these humorous and unexpected objects.” (Photo: Muppaphone | Reddit)
