The Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel was operational from 1910 until 1969. When built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company – it was considered “the finest carousel ever made.”

The carousel was one of the park’s most popular rides until it closed in 1969. It featured 58 horses that were hand-carved from wood. Of those 58 horses, 54 were restored and painted by Carousel Works in Mansfield, Ohio and are now part of the ride at the Cleveland History Center.

It is now fully operational and once again, brings joy to riders of all ages at the Carousel Pavilion. Included in the center's admission price are tickets for two free rides on the carousel.

For the complete history of the carousel, visit the Western Reserve Historical Society's web site.
